ABCs for First Grade Parents
Ask your child about his/ her day.
Birthday snacks should be kept simple.
Communicate with your child’s teacher.
Do visit chapel – especially when your child acolytes.
Encourage independence.
Find special items for Share.
Get your child to bed early
Have lunch with your child on Parent Lunch Days.
Initial and check homework.
Just enjoy the Christmas pageant!
Keep up with what’s going on via the SAS website.
Library books are due on Friday.
Make sure you remember your child’s Terrific Turtle week!
Notes home are very important.
Pack a healthy snack.
Quiet time is important for homework.
Read each night with your child.
St. Andrew’s Day is so fun. We go bowling!
Tardy students must check in at the office
Use your sense of humor with your child.
Volunteer for school activities.
